What sort of Licence do I require when hiring a van? Firstly if you are looking to hire a van, the fist thing you need to be made aware of is that we only accept licences from the UK & EU. This would need to be a full licence and for the driver to qualify for the van hire they would need to be in between the ages of 25-74. How much would it cost to hire a van? This of course will always vary depending on the size of the vehicle that you hire. For example if you were looking to hire a standard sized transit van transit, this would cost £75.00 for the day. Within this price to hire a van you will be allocated with 100 miles mileage allowance, fully comprehensive insurance & breakdown cover. Here at Neo Van Hire we also offer our customers a special weekend discount of £130.00 to hire a van from Saturday morning to Monday morning. How does the deposit work when hiring a van? The majority of van hire businesses would take a deposit from you but your insurance excess if involved in an accident would be substantially more expensive. Here at Neo Van Hire we believe in no added extras and our deposit is the same amount as the insurance excess would be in the event of a claim. This allows all of our van hire customers to receive full transparency giving them the confidence they need to drive their hire van without the stress of hidden extras and being ripped off.
